Amberwood Animals is a sanctuary dedicated to providing refuge for animals typically regarded as farmed animals - founded in 2021 by Mark Wakeling.

Our current residents include 38 sheep, 5 pigs, and 7 cows. Our primary mission is to offer the highest standard of care, ensuring that every animal here can live a long, healthy life—free from slaughter and free from exploitation in any form.

We are equally committed to creating a space for human education, connection and healing through compassionate care and service to our animal residents.

Located on part of a former beef farm in Oxfordshire, Amberwood Animals is proud to be a registered UK charity.
