Who are we?
Amberwood Animals was founded in the spring of 2021.
We are dedicated to providing care specifically for farmed animals at risk of abuse or slaughter. Our mission involves rescuing, rehabilitating where necessary and rehoming where possible - as well as offering a safe haven for those requiring lifelong care.

​Additionally, we offer controlled interaction between individuals and the animals to promote health and wellbeing and to serve as an educational resource to develop public awareness about farmed animals and to promote their rights. Currently, we are supported by a small team of volunteers.

We are in the process of applying to become a charity, which will help us to develop and expand our missions.
We are totally dependent on the kindness of supporters through their donations.

Our cost's include - renting the land and buildings that home the animals, their food, vet care and medicines as well as the continuous maintenance and development of their environment to make it ever more safe and fulfilling for the residents with their wellbeing and personal agency as priorities. Creating a safe infrastructure for volunteers to support the animals and for visitors to interact with them where appropriate.

If you are interested in supporting the animals through volunteering then please send us an email. We need help in all sorts of ways - On site physical tasks such as mucking out, moving fencing, feeding and help when we need to give specific care like foot trimming.
We also need help with some administrative tasks and media creation for our social media and Patreon followers - so if there are any photographers, film makers, editors out there who would like to help then we love to hear from you too.
