ABOUT AMBERWOOD ANIMAL SANCTUARY
Amberwood Animals was founded in the spring of 2021 by Mark Wakeling.
We currently look after forty two animals - 10 cows, 27 sheep and 5 pigs. We are located at a former beef farm in the Oxfordshire countryside. Our mission is to provide a safe home for animals who otherwise face slaughter.
HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT US?
The vision is to develop enterprises that can support us in a sustainable way over the years ahead. But for now we our totally dependent on the kindness of supporters through their donations.
Cost's include - renting the land and buildings that home the animals, their food, vet care and medicines as well as the continuous maintenance and development of their environment to make it ever more safe and fulfilling for the residence with their wellbeing and personal agency as priorities.

If you are interested in supporting the animals through volunteering then please send us an email. We need help in all sorts of ways - On site physical tasks such as mucking out, moving fencing, feeding and help when we need to give specific care like foot trimming.
We also need help with some administrative tasks and media creation for our social media and Patreon followers - so if there are any photographers, film makers, editors out there who would like to help then we love to hear from you too.
